Wellness is generally used to mean a healthy balance of the mind-body and spirit that results in an overall feeling of well-being.

Disease is caused primarily by our own ignorance and fear.  Almost all disease is curable when the body is given the chance to heal and the nutrients, water and oxygen required. Physical sovereignty is about maintaining and restoring our health and well-being. In the long run enjoying good health and wellness is more important than attaining success, money or fame.

Early in life I discovered that through natural remedies I could manage my own health. In our society going to the doctor has become a mindless ritual for many. If we feel pain or discomfort we try to cover it up. When we ignore or cover up our body's signals to us we eventually become chronically ill.

Pain is a signal that our body is out of balance.  To bring the body back into balance we need to ask the 100 questions.

• Are we happy with what we are doing with our lives?
• Do we have a support system in place that helps us feel loved and safe?
• Is our environment clean and vibrant?
• Do we have a comfortable place to rest at night?
• Are we getting enough sleep?
• Is our water intake adequate?
• Are our foods irritating or over stimulating?
• Is exercise a priority in our lives?
• Are we spending too much time watching T.V. with violent content?
• Do we have enough alone time to reflect on what our body is trying to say to us?
• Are we loving ourselves and giving priority to our own needs?

The list goes on and on.  Many times we forget to ask these basic questions, not aware that our emotions are the number one cause for our bodies maladies.  For some of us the answers are obvious and for others a long journey of discovery.  I believe that we are all capable of helping ourselves.  To do this we need to number one: make a commitment to be open and try new things.  As Einstein said, "Insanity is doing the same thing the same way and expecting different results."

Take responsibility for your own health and wellness. You cannot give this away to medical doctors or alternative practitioners, hospitals or the medical establishment. Retain your health freedom right to seek treatments and cures that are effective for your health without deference to medical authority.

Understand how your own body functions and know thyself.  Listen carefully to what your body needs and is telling you from within. Eat appropriately to your body type, think positive and seek alternative therapies whenever possible.
