Review of Film "I Am"

I saw this incredible film last year and it had a life changing impact on my world view. I saw it three times in the theater. I even took my kids. Our education system does NOT teach us about ourselves as human beings. We are not told how amazing we all are and how connected we are to each other. We are not given the necessary tools to do a better job at being human and this is the simple reason why we are failing each other.

In my opinion: This film should be seen by at least every American from the age of ten and up. It should be mandatory for all students to see this as a reminder of our social responsibility to each other. This film should be viewed as a model for more media like this to be created and shared with our brothers and sisters of the world. The challenges we face are occurring because we are not educated properly on how to conduct ourselves. A re-training/re-membering of our hearts and minds is the simplest and most effective way for us all to evolve past these dark times we live in. Fortunately, the filmmaker has made "I Am" available to watch on YouTube. I'm asking that you to watch it for yourself and consider the power of the information. Watch this with your children and have frank discussions with them about the information it shares. In a time where apocalyptic imagery and messages are at the forefront of our imagination, here is some information that is delivered with love and consideration with hope for a brighter future.

I can already feel your heart bursting with love and empathy. Enjoy the show!
