Birthing the Compassionate City: Ending the City of Suffering | Commonway
Sunday, May 6, 2012
I have been witness to a lot of the world’s suffering.  I've seen it from the inside, growing up in Camden, NJ.   I’ve been witness to poverty on five continents.  I’ve been to 50 or 60 refugee camps, in Asia and Africa - containers of human suffering and misery. So, it’s safe to say I know a refugee camp when I see one.  "Homelessness" is an American euphemism for domestic refugee camps. The statistics on homelessness are chilling.  It's one of the many epidemics plaguing America right now.  Our cities smolder, while our politicians do less than Nero.  (Check this link for information on the disturbing national rise of tent cities, squatter camps. ... read more

Tax Day: Thanks to lobbying, it's a holiday for some in Oregon | Mail-Tribune
Sunday, April 15, 2012
This tax day while most Oregonians faithfully file their taxes, top banks and corporations will pay nothing while taking bailouts and tax refunds paid for by the rest of us. These expensive subsidies are draining our economy and not creating the benefits promised. What do we get instead? Little investment in jobs, virtually no credit for struggling Oregon businesses and a foreclosure mess that displaces thousands of families, drives down property values for everyone and hurts Oregon's economy. ... read more

Oregon’s SB 1552 Analyzed – Mandatory Mediation Law (For Trust Deed Foreclosures) | Querin Law
Sunday, March 25, 2012
On March 5, 2012, the Oregon Legislature passed a sweeping series of changes to its trust deed foreclosure law, SB 1552.  Once signed by the Governor it will become effective 91 days hence.  What follows is a summary of (a) the new mandatory mediation law that, after the effective date, will apply to the non-judicial foreclosure of all residential trust deeds; and (b) some important changes to the existing laws governing judicial and non-judicial foreclosures.  Between now and the effective date, the Oregon Attorney General’s office will promulgate rules to implement the mediation program.  Until then, all we have for guidance is SB 1552 itself. This summary is for informational purposes only and should not be viewed as “legal advice”.  Those interested in seeing if the new law may apply to their particular situation should consult with their own legal counsel. ... read more

That's right, Air not Gas, Diesel or Electric but just the Air around us, take a look. The Air Car, developed by ex-Formula One engineer Guy N. Wednesday, December 21, 2011

"The accurate content of the message for the Maya Prophecy for our times is that the date of December 21, 2012 is nothing more than a general marker, a specific date that infact indicates a whole era, an era of hope, an era of opportunity - the opportunity to re-establish a sense of community amongst all humans of this planet..." -From The Maya Taino Prophecy Initiative, led by Maya Elder Antonio Aj Ik and Taino Elder Miguel Sague - www.mayatainoprophecy.webs.com

December 21, 2012 marks the Shifting of World Ages, a return to zero point, where we officially transition from the current 5,125 year World Age Cycle, and enter into a New World Cycle; marking a new level of our unfoldment as a planetary collective; a new level of our human evolution in concert with our living Universe.

Occupy Earth: Nature Is the 99%, Too
Thursday, October 27, 2011
What if rising sea levels are yet another measure of inequality? What if the degradation of our planet’s life-support systems -- its atmosphere, oceans, and biosphere -- goes hand in hand with the accumulation of wealth, power, and control by that corrupt and greedy 1% we are hearing about from Zuccotti Park?  What if the assault on America’s middle class and the assault on the environment are one and the same? ... read more
