| Resurfacing: Techniques for Exploring Consciousness | Stars Edge |
| Sunday, July 18, 2010 |
Reviewed by John David Van Hove
This is a book and seminar about disentangling yourself from old creations and rising
back into awareness through these 30 consciousness skills and processes.
Excerpted from Part II - Attention & Will
Under the guise of socializing the individual, schools and governments
discourage willful behavior. Willfulness is equated with stubbornness
or obstinacy.
So from disuse, the individual's will falls into a stupor and is
kept sedated by stressful indoctrination. Awakening is discouraged by
regulations that threaten painful consequences for mistakes. Personal
responsibility is associated with blame and replaced by abstract ideas
about right, which serve as justification for any action, no matter how
selfish, immoral or cruel.

| Fungi Perfecti: the petroleum problem |
| Tuesday, June 1, 2010 |
The BP oil spill has inflicted enormous harm in the Gulf of Mexico
and will continue to do so for months, if not decades, to come. While
we will need a wide array of efforts to address this complex problem,
mycoremediation is a valuable component in our toolset of solutions.
Mycoremediation has demonstrated positive results, verified by
scientists in many countries. However, there is more oil spilled than
there is currently mycelium available. Much more mycelium is needed
and, fortunately, we know how to generate it.
Here is what we
know about mycoremediation, based on tests conducted by myself, my
colleagues and other researchers who have published their results. |

Clinton, are covering up the magnitude of the volcanic-level oil
disaster in the Gulf of Mexico and working together to limit BP's
liability for damage caused by what can be called a "mega-disaster."

| Organic: What it means on different products | LA Times |
| Monday, March 29, 2010 |
Some consumers are more than willing to pay higher prices for
organically grown food and other products. But is the extra dollar
worth it? The answer may depend upon personal priorities.
By definition, organically grown foods are produced without most
conventional pesticides, fertilizers made with synthetic ingredients or
sewage sludge. Livestock aren't given antibiotics or growth hormones.
And organic farmers emphasize renewable resources and conservation of
soil and water. |
