Arts Resources

Art refers to a diverse range of human activities, creations, and expressions that are appealing or attractive to the senses or have some significance to the mind of an individual. The word "art" may be used to cover all or any of the arts, including music, literature and other forms. It is most often used to refer specifically to the visual arts, including media such as painting, sculpture, and printmaking. However it can also be applied to forms of art that stimulate the other senses, such as music, an auditory art. Aesthetics is the branch of philosophy which considers art.

Vision Statement and Purpose:

New boundaries along the edge of human experience are constantly redrawn through the endeavors of our visionary artists, extraordinary musicians, dancers and performers, authors, poets and stage/film actors, directors and producers.

Whereas their purpose is to create and push the edge, ours is to encourage and support an enlightened global culture of free expression in the arts, music, dance and theatre.

Whereas the traditional culture of tribes and nations are expressed in the community and political realms, the visionary culture of arts, music, dance and theatre is expressed through live events, festivals and theatre, conscious media, film and books. Also emerging are the cultures of sustainability, consciousness, freedom and sovereignty.
